Health awareness talk for sarpanches of Faridabad and Ballabgarh block was organized by Metro hospital Faridabad. Dr Seema Mohindra Medical Superintendent of the hospital spoke on heart diseases & Prevention. Aim of health talk is to motivate and empower participants to take charge of their heart health and well-being. Various topics were covered in talk like various heart conditions, prevention tips, diet, exercise etc. Event was a grand success as more than 80 villages participated in it.
Dr. S. S. Bansal, Managing Director of the hospital and the chief guest of the event said that Health talks are very effective way to make people educate about various health issues, associated risks and prevention and to educate the participants about latest techniques that hospital is practicing to improve the health of patients.
Various consultants from the hospital participated in the health talk. Dr. V.K Gupta from orthopedic department discussed the latest 3d technique used in joint & knee replacement. Dr. Anup Gulati from urology & kidney transplant department talks about chronic kidney diseases (CKD) & Endstage renal disease (ESRD) and the facilities we have for such patients. Dr. Sachin Mittal tells the participant about emergency laparoscopy that can shorten patient’s hospital stay and give excellent results specially in young & obese patients. Dr. Dhruv Zutshi from Neurology departments talks about the stroke and paralysis and golden hour to reach hospital.
Privilege cards were distributed to the sarpanchees and senior members of the villages, this card will help them to avail various discounts on health services provided by the hospital.
