Privacy Request

Metro Hospital respects your rights in relation to your personal data. This page allows patients, attendants, website visitors and other individuals to submit privacy-related requests in accordance with applicable law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and applicable rules.

You may use this page to request information about your personal data, request correction or updating, request erasure where applicable, withdraw consent, stop promotional communications or raise a privacy grievance.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE YOU SUBMIT

To protect patient confidentiality and prevent unauthorised disclosure, Metro Hospital may need to verify your identity before acting on certain requests. We will seek only the information reasonably necessary for verification.

Please do not upload Aadhaar, passport copies, complete medical records, bank credentials or other highly sensitive documents unless Metro Hospital specifically requests them through an authorised secure channel for a legitimate verification purpose.

A request for erasure may not result in deletion of information that Metro Hospital is required or permitted to retain under applicable healthcare, medical-record, taxation, accounting, legal, regulatory or other obligations.

7. We will identify the relevant systems, departments or service providers involved.
8. We will review the request against applicable healthcare, legal and data-protection requirements.
9. We will respond or take appropriate action within the period required under applicable law.
10. WITHDRAWAL OF CONSENT

Where processing is based on your consent, you may withdraw that consent using this page or another method made available by Metro Hospital. Withdrawal will not affect processing that was lawfully undertaken before the withdrawal.

After valid withdrawal, Metro Hospital will cease processing based on that consent within a reasonable period and will take reasonable steps regarding processors acting on its behalf, unless continued processing is required or authorised under applicable law.

MARKETING REQUESTS

If your request relates only to promotional WhatsApp, SMS, email or telephone communications, you may use our dedicated Communication Preferences page.

Opting out of promotional communications does not necessarily stop appointment confirmations, treatment-related communications, payment messages, emergency communications or other necessary service-related messages.

PRIVACY GRIEVANCES

If you believe your personal data has been handled incorrectly, you may raise a grievance using this page. Please describe the issue clearly and provide relevant dates or references where available.

We encourage you to first allow Metro Hospital an opportunity to review and address the concern. Rights available under applicable law, including any right to approach the Data Protection Board of India where applicable, remain unaffected.
